Haflong Government College N.C.C. is the Senior Division (SD) unit under 3rd Assam Bn, Silchar. Students having certificate "A" can take admission in this unit in proper form prescribed by the N.C.C. head quarter. Thus a student desirous of being enrolled in this Unit shall apply to the Officer commanding the unit.
This unit provides facilities of Annual Training Camp (ATC), Trekking, National Integration Camp (NIC) as per vacancy allotted to this unit by the head quarter from time to time and Republic Day, Independence Day march past etc. The students showing excellent performance are selected for participation in these vacancies. Certificate B and C Examination is held in every session under this unit. It is worth mentioning that a good number of cadets of this college qualify themselves in 'B' and 'C' Certificate examinations every year. Every year our cadets participate in the "Road Safety Week Programme" to make the common people aware of the general traffic rules. Apart from these, extension activities are also undertaken from time to time through different forums of the college. Dr. Gwjwn Bodosa is the CTO of the College unit of NCC.
